Work flow of freeze dryer
The main workflow of the freeze dryer includes the following steps:
1. Pre-process items and prepare material trays: Pre-process the items to be freeze-dried as required, and place the pre-processed items in the material tray.
2. Place the material tray: Place the material tray with the items in the freeze-drying rack. Usually, multiple layers of material trays can be placed at one time.
3. Set parameters and start the freeze-drying program: Set the freeze-drying parameters according to the requirements of the freeze-dried items, such as freeze-drying time and temperature, and start the freeze-drying program.
4. Freezing stage: When the freeze dryer starts to operate, it will first enter the freezing stage. At this stage, the freeze dryer uses the cooling system to quickly freeze the items in the material tray, turning the moisture inside into solid ice crystals.
5. Sublimation drying stage: After the freezing is completed, the freeze dryer enters the sublimation drying stage. At this stage, the freeze dryer uses the vacuum system and heating system to directly convert the ice crystals in the material tray into gas to achieve the purpose of dehydration.
6. Termination stage: When all items in the material tray have completed sublimation drying, the freeze dryer enters the termination stage. At this time, the freeze dryer will stop running and release the air inside, allowing the items in the material tray to return to normal environmental conditions.
